Why our Fundraising is so important…

After months of rehabilitation, Boycie is now living a full life in a loving home.

** WARNING – Images may be upsetting to some **

Boycie came into our care extremely undernourished and underweight, with matted fur and a dislocated shoulder. Boycie received pain relief for his injury and spent months recovering with a foster carer and receiving some extra TLC to build his confidence. This is just one of our cases this year where we have spent hundreds of pounds rehabilitating to ensure that our animals receive the best care and are fully ready for their forever home.

Abbey spent months recovering, so skinny and her legs had not formed properly because of lack of food, she was just a baby.

Here at the RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch we have a NO KILL policy and will never put an animal to sleep unless under the strict guidance of a vet. Our locally raised money is spent on our animals in care and they receive every chance to live their best life in the right homes.

Our small local branch is independent and we raise all of our own funds from our charity shops, fundraising events & donations. Where our money goes – So many of the animals brought into our care from the RSPCA Inspectors come with injuries from neglect and cruelty and need a lot of veterinary care. Every month we spend at least £5000 on vet bills to help our animals rehabilitate and recover. If you would like to contribute towards our vet bills to help all of our Northamptonshire animals please text VETS11 £3 to 70070 to donate. We are a NO KILL branch where every animal rescued is given the treatment that they need. Animals are only put to sleep with the advice of a vet and with a very heavy heart.
